Former PSD Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete criticizes the political situation Romania finds itself in. He points out that the country has not had a fully empowered government for four months and argues that this period of uncertainty can no longer continue.
In a statement regarding the institutional deadlock, Rogobete says that Romania cannot be “held back indefinitely” because of the ambitions of a single politician. He believes that personal political interests should not prevent the normal functioning of the state and decision-making at government level.
The former minister believes that the time has come for what he calls the “political noise” to come to an end, calling for the impasse to be overcome and for a fully mandated Executive to return.
His statement comes in the context of the formation of a new Government being delayed for several months, while the lack of a fully empowered cabinet continues to put pressure on the political class and state institutions.
