Marcel Ciolacu has announced his resignation as Prime Minister of Romania, following the PSD National Political Council's decision to quit the governing coalition. Following a meeting with interim President Ilie Bolojan, the Presidential Administration confirmed that an interim PM will be appointed the following day. Ciolacu emphasized the lack of legitimacy of the current coalition and mentioned that PSD ministers will continue talks with PNL and UDMR.
