Ludovic Orban, former prime minister and presidential advisor to Nicușor Dan, stated that PSD must take responsibility for the government, considering that they caused the political crisis. Orban asserted that PSD should come up with solutions to resolve the situation, emphasizing that it is a moral obligation.

He mentioned the difficulties in forming a parliamentary majority, needing additional votes, and criticized PSD for refusing to collaborate with AUR, even though they jointly submitted a motion of censure. Orban explained that, in the event that two governments are not invested, President Nicușor Dan could dissolve Parliament, which could lead parliamentarians to vote for a new government.

Regarding the option of a technocratic prime minister, Ludovic Orban stated: 'Regardless of whether it is about assuming the position of PSD prime minister or whether they agree with Nicușor Dan to put a technocrat that they will support in Parliament, meaning a PSD technocrat, to be very clear.

This technocrat thing is to avoid directly assuming the responsibility of the government by the PSD president and to help Nicușor Dan a bit, so that Nicușor Dan does not actually appoint the PSD president, because that would severely affect the image. And then this compromise solution with a so-called technocratic prime minister. But in fact, the technocratic prime minister is a prime minister who is agreed upon and supported by PSD'.

He added that, although there are risks of ruptures within PNL, these will be minimal: 'For a PNL parliamentarian, at the moment they voted for the investment of a PSD government, it means leaving PNL, being excluded from PNL, it means violating the decision made by the statutory bodies of the National Liberal Party and it means practically ending their career in the National Liberal Party. I believe that there are very, very few who would assume this, because currently PSD has nothing to offer'.

Orban concluded by emphasizing that PSD must demonstrate how it will implement its economic promises.
