Lia Olguța Vasilescu: "The best option would be a minority PSD government that takes on governance."

Lia Olguța Vasilescu, the mayor of Craiova, stated during the show "Gândul Ai aflat!" that the PSD could form a majority in the Government, in the event that Nicușor Dan would be nominated.

Asked about the partners for such a majority, she mentioned that she would collaborate with "parliamentarians from the Romanian Parliament", without providing further details. Vasilescu emphasized that the best solution would be a minority PSD government that would assume responsibilities, just as the party did in the past.

At the same time, Vasilescu stated that "one of the PSD's mistakes" was that it did not claim the position of prime minister after last year's elections and criticized Ilie Bolojan for trying to remain at the head of the Government, even though "the coalition that supported him no longer exists".
