The PSD made a last-minute change to the resignation plan of its ministers, who will no longer resign before today's Government meeting, but only after lunch, according to political sources. This decision was influenced by calendar considerations, as party leaders believed that a press conference in the morning would have been too early for the official announcement.

The social-democratic ministers will not attend the Executive meeting, and their duties have been temporarily delegated to the state secretaries from PNL, USR, and UDMR. Even though the moment has been postponed, the resignations of the PSD ministers are certain.

The political crisis erupted after the overwhelming vote of the PSD to withdraw support from Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, who, despite the pressures, announced that he would not resign. President Nicușor Dan called on the parties to reduce tensions and focus on solutions.
