On Wednesday, July 15, the interim Minister of Economy, Irineu Darău, criticized the PSD's threats regarding the voting of the PNRR laws, emphasizing that a government controlled by social democrats could squander the savings accumulated in the last year.
Darău stated that the fiscal policies that contributed to reducing the budget deficit must continue, alongside PNL and UDMR, to avoid an economic crisis similar to the one in the past. He accused PSD of blackmail and of breaking the coalition through the motion of censure voted with AUR, emphasizing that social democrats have violated the signed protocol.
Additionally, Darău warned that the deadline for completing the PNRR is 45 days, stressing the importance of adhering to it for the economic stability of Romania.
