The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, emphasized that a joint candidacy of PNL-USR for the elections for the Capital City Hall would marginalize the social democrats within the Coalition. Grindeanu proposed the development of a "project for Bucharest" and mentioned that, in the case of such an alliance, the PSD would be forced to make decisions to avoid isolation. He also highlighted the importance of priorities for Bucharesters, above the political desires of other parties.
