Sorin Grindeanu, interim president of PSD, said that the party will not form an alliance with AUR during his term in office, emphasizing that the current coalition will continue to function. He said that the decision to join the coalition was taken seriously and that he maintains constant communication with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. In contrast, AUR leader George Simion suggested that AUR's coming to government is inevitable, urging PSD to work with them.
