Sorin Grindeanu, the leader of the PSD and the party's proposal for the position of prime minister, rejected a potential plan for a rotating government, which, according to political sources, would have been proposed by the leaders of USR.
According to sources, the USR leader, Dominic Fritz, would have proposed to the leaders of PNL and UDMR, Ilie Bolojan and Kelemen Hunor, during a discussion on Wednesday morning, a "rotating" formula, which would initially involve a minority PNL-USR-UDMR government, followed by a minority government led by PSD.
"If it were true, it seems childish to me," said Sorin Grindeanu when asked to comment on the rotating solution.
He emphasized that, so far, he has not received concrete proposals from PNL.
We remind that the PSD leader announced on Wednesday that the party has decided to take on governance and nominated him for the position of prime minister.
