The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that, in the context of discussions about the special pensions law, loyalty within a Coalition does not mean that there cannot be criticism. He emphasized that he is not in a "North Korea" situation, where everyone must applaud without expressing opinions. Grindeanu mentioned the deadline of November 28 to finalize a new draft law, otherwise Romania risks losing 231 million euros from the PNRR. He highlighted the dissatisfaction related to the retirement age and the amount of pensions, proposing a quick dialogue between the parties in the Coalition to reach a consensus. Grindeanu criticized Ordinance 52 for its negative impact on administration and emphasized that all involved parties have the resources to collaborate on the reform of special pensions. He also attended a PSD conference, where Marcel Ciolacu's candidacy for the presidency of the County Council was discussed.
