Representatives of the Association of Municipalities of Romania (AMR) said that, following the meeting with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, the Government has taken on board all the proposals on public administration reform. One topic under discussion remains the population base for financial allocations. The AMR also detailed issues related to the OUG for the PNRR, including the continuation of advanced projects, the prioritization of those below 30% physical stage and the freedom of municipalities to decide the location of gambling halls. Changes in tax legislation and civil servant appraisal were also agreed. Dialogue will continue to support local communities.
