The French Embassy in Bucharest has informed that Romania is collaborating with France on armament projects for the modernization of the Armed Forces. In the field of anti-aircraft defense, there are two separate projects: one for Mistral 3 man-portable anti-aircraft missiles, with favorable prices, and another for vehicle-mounted anti-aircraft systems, for which a bid was eliminated by the Romanian authorities. The communication comes in response to recent false information.
