Representatives of the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) issued a warning regarding misinformation appearing on social media, where screenshots erroneously suggest the presence of drones in the airspace of Romania. MApN emphasized that these platforms do not have access to military radar data, but use estimates and predictive algorithms, which leads to the display of false routes or localization errors.

In the context of the Russian Federation's attacks on Ukraine, MApN reminded that its surveillance system continuously monitors the airspace with high-tech equipment. The ministry called on citizens not to be misled by unconfirmed information, emphasizing that the safety of the population is a priority, and any real risk will be communicated through official channels.
