Dan Tănasă, AUR MEP, has attacked Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu after she misspelled the name of the President of Ukraine, referring to Volodimir Zelenski as "Vladimir". Tănasă believes such errors reflect a gross amateurism and lack of professionalism in Romanian diplomacy. He accuses the government of discrediting Romania internationally and says Oana Țoiu is a danger to the country's image, calling for competent diplomats to defend national interests.
