Eugen Tomac, the designated prime minister of Romania, announced that he will present a technical Government to Parliament and not a political one. He also emphasized that it is an honor and a responsibility to form the future Government, acknowledging the difficult context the country is facing.
Tomac announced that he will propose a team of specialists to Parliament, wishing to form a technical government, not a political one, and requested openness and dialogue from the democratic political forces.
"I will present to Parliament a team of specialists, a technical government, not a political one. I assure you, Mr. President, that the team will responsibly manage the budget, the commitments made, and obviously the citizen will be placed at the center of every effort," specified Eugen Tomac.
Among the priorities of the future Government are maintaining the European direction, strengthening the partnership with the USA, and national security.
