Emil Boc, the mayor of Cluj-Napoca, stated at a press conference that early elections could be a solution for the governmental crisis, although obtaining them is complicated from a constitutional and political standpoint. He emphasized that the responsibility for forming a new Government lies with the parliamentarians who dismissed the Bolojan Government.

Boc reiterated that PNL will remain in Opposition, and Ciprian Ciucu, first vice-president of PNL, added that PSD must take on governance. Ciucu mentioned that dialogue with PSD could lead to a request for a vote of confidence for a new Government, emphasizing the political responsibility of those who created the current situation.
