Dragoș Pîslaru, the interim minister of Investments and European Projects, announced that he has officially joined the National Liberal Party, emphasizing that Romania urgently needs a profound reform of the administration, more efficient institutions, and radical changes in areas that are not functioning.
In a Facebook post, he highlighted his achievements, including attracting 10 billion euros from non-agricultural European funds and unlocking the PNRR, with an absorption rate of over 60%. Pîslaru mentioned that Romania ranks second in the EU in Cohesion Policy, with a tripling of the absorption rate.
He emphasized the importance of a strong team and a clear vision to implement the necessary reforms, warning about the threats to the country's European path. Pîslaru stressed that Romania needs the courage to radically change what is not working and advocated for professional and responsible governance.
