Dominic Fritz: USR will not support PSD schemes and will defend the government

Dominic Fritz, the president of USR, sent a firm message to PSD, emphasizing that his party will not participate in its 'cynical schemes'. The statement came in the context of PSD planning to vote for the withdrawal of political support for Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan (PNL).

Fritz accused PSD of intimidation and smear campaigns against USR ministers, mentioning that changing the prime minister a year before the term ends is not in the interest of Romanians. He warned that triggering a political crisis could lead to significant financial losses from the PNRR and a deterioration of the economic situation.

Fritz reaffirmed USR's commitment to support the current government, which has started the necessary reforms, and promised that the party will fight for justice and prosperity for Romanians.
