Dominic Fritz, the first reaction after the motion of censure passed: "We will not allow PSD and AUR to turn Romania back into the past"

The president of USR, Dominic Fritz, stated that PSD and AUR tried to block reforms in Romania before they could have visible effects. He emphasized that the motion passed, but he will not allow the country to return to the past, stating that the greed of these parties has cost Romanians for 36 years.

Fritz assured that USR will continue to fight alongside Romanians to build a better future, with responsibility and courage. He also announced that USR ministers will continue their work until a new government is formed, emphasizing that they will not negotiate with PSD, considering it a partner that blocks reforms.

In the parliamentary vote, the motion was adopted with 281 votes in favor and 4 against, out of a total of 288 votes cast. Fritz will discuss with the USR leadership about the strategy to defend the party's values in the upcoming period.
