The president of USR, Dominic Fritz, emphasized that his party will not support a government with a technocratic prime minister, considering the collaboration between PSD and AUR. Fritz criticized PSD for not keeping its word and creating a parallel majority with AUR, which goes against pro-European values.

He mentioned that the alliance with PSD and AUR has crossed a red line for USR, making it impossible to negotiate a new pro-European government. Fritz stated that, if necessary, USR will choose to be in opposition, emphasizing that it will not be complicit in a government that claims to be reformist but cannot implement real reforms due to PSD's influence.
