The reorganization of the National Forestry Agency aims to reduce the number of forestry directorates from 41 to 12 and a significant decrease in the number of directors, which could save 19 million lei. Forestry trade unionists are contesting the measures, arguing that the project has not been properly drafted and could jeopardize forests and jobs.
