Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu has said she will ensure a fair and honest competition for the post of director of the National Forestry Agency Romsilva. She called on experienced people to apply to help reform the institution. Buzoianu explained that although it was not mandatory, she decided to organize the contest to promote transparency by imposing clear criteria for candidates. He also expressed his dissatisfaction with the low number of candidates for the positions on the Board of Directors, stressing that he would monitor their work and could ask for their dismissal in case of failure to fulfill their duties.
