Marius Sulincean, subprefect of Arad County from the PSD party, resigned on Tuesday, explaining that his decision is a "deeply political gesture" in protest against the current government.

Sulincean informed the county prefect, Mihai Pașca, about his resignation on Monday, and on Tuesday morning he formalized the gesture.

On social media, he emphasized that politics should be oriented towards people and criticized Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, stating that he no longer responds to the needs of citizens.

Prefect Pașca claims that he had a correct collaboration with Sulincean, but mentioned that the resignation was inevitable, considering that the PSD has initiated a motion of censure against the Government.
