Daniel Băluță, the leader of PSD Bucharest, harshly criticizes the general mayor Ciprian Ciucu, accusing him of hypocrisy regarding the reform of the Bucharest Transport Society (STB). Băluță emphasizes that Ciucu, together with PNL and USR, has led STB for six years, bringing it to a precarious financial situation, with debts of 1.6 billion lei. In a Facebook post, Băluță names Ciucu "a fraudulent baron" and reproaches him for asking for an audit for an entity he managed.

Băluță criticizes Ciucu's leadership style, stating that he lives "in a movie, in a dark comedy," while the city faces serious problems, such as heavy traffic and lack of heating in homes.

Ciucu, on the other hand, announced that he is studying the STB organizational chart, highlighting the large number of economists and directors, comparing STB's costs with the budget of the municipality of Brașov. He accused PSD of blocking the requested audit, promising that he will advance solutions for the recovery of the company.
