Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan has decided to adopt the public administration reform and the economic relaunch package through emergency ordinances, which has sparked criticism from Deputy Mihai Fifor, president of PSD Arad. Fifor believes that this choice reflects a fear of dialogue and democratic debate, emphasizing that the measures have a structural impact and should have been discussed in Parliament.
Although the measures were agreed upon in the governmental coalition, Fifor mentioned that PSD accepted this compromise to impose important measures. Prime Minister Bolojan justified the decision, stating that the ordinances respect the Constitution and are necessary for streamlining administration and stimulating the economy. He emphasized that the reforms aim to reduce personnel in administration and support decentralization, with the goal of creating a healthier economic environment.
