Ciprian Șerban has reacted to an investigation by Free Europe suggesting he may have given bribes in 2012. He claims that he noticed unjustified withholdings of money from representatives of the Forestry Office and denounced the situation to the authorities. Șerban explained that he acted legally and the accusations are unfounded. The scandal comes after a similar controversy with businessman Dragos Anastasiu, which led to his resignation.
