To be sworn in, the Government had to obtain a majority of votes, i.e. at least 233 votes in favor. With 240 votes 'for' and 143 'against', the government received Parliament's confidence. Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu emphasized the importance of dialogue with both those in power and the opposition.
