Călin Georgescu was present at the Sector 1 Court for a trial related to the promotion of fascist ideas.

Upon leaving the court, Georgescu called for the dismissal of the Minister of Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, accusing him of incompetence in organizing the mobilization of reservists, which generated negative discussions among international partners. Georgescu was sent to trial in July 2024 for legionary propaganda and incitement to actions against the constitutional order, being accused of benefiting from suspicious funding in the electoral campaign. He was also involved in a scandal related to the discovery of a military arsenal associated with mercenaries who were planning destabilization actions in Romania. On September 16, 2025, he was also sent to trial for complicity in the attempted actions against the constitutional order.
