Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that he is not considering resigning, despite the increased political tensions in the Coalition, after the social democrats announced that they would request a 'honorary resignation' on April 20. In an interview with Europa FM, Bolojan emphasized that he will continue his responsible mandate and firmly rejected the idea of resignation. He stated that those who generate crises must take responsibility, mentioning that parties have constitutional mechanisms at their disposal to support their positions. When asked about the possibility of a coalition without him, the prime minister said that such a scenario has not been discussed. Bolojan warned that a change at the top of the Executive will not solve current problems and could generate blockages. He also emphasized the importance of absorbing European funds, warning that Romania risks losing 10 billion euros if it does not access them by the end of August.
