Bogdan Ivan: PSD open to compromises for government formation

Bogdan Ivan, PSD deputy, emphasized the importance of forming a government in Romania, mentioning that PSD should have received the nomination for the position of prime minister, considering it is the largest party in Parliament.

Ivan stated that PSD has been open to compromises, including accepting a technocratic government supported by the parties from the former coalition. He accused President Nicușor Dan of indecision, claiming that he rejected several prime minister options. Ivan named Ilie Bolojan as the source of the political deadlock, mentioning that PSD would support a technocratic government, provided that the government plan reflects the party's priorities.

Additionally, Ivan expressed a preference for Sorin Grindeanu as prime minister, but acknowledged that Alexandru Nazare could be a viable option if he could secure the necessary votes. Ivan criticized former partners in PNL for their lack of compromises, accusing them of looking for reasons not to vote for a new government.
