Petrișor Peiu, the leader of the AUR senators, criticized the PSD-PNL-USR-UDMR coalition for using the extraordinary session of Parliament as a method of "permanent" governance and for "obscuring parliamentary debate," which the party claims violates the principle of separation of powers in the state.
He argues that the Government is "abusing" its powers, leading to an "incapable" administration that cannot address the country's problems.
He stated that the Executive would "legislate without right," by using accelerated legislative procedures and by rapidly promoting bills without sufficient parliamentary debate.
At the same time, the AUR leader claimed that the invocation of urgency is used to introduce measures that are not related to the PNRR and criticized the way investments and public services, including in the health sector, are managed.
