Petrișor Peiu (AUR) warns that the deliberate exclusion of AUR from any form of government prolongs the political crisis and demonstrates that Nicușor Dan has given up his role as a guarantor of democracy.

Petrișor Peiu, the leader of the AUR senators, stated that the deliberate exclusion of AUR from any form of government undermines democracy and prolongs the political crisis.

"In Parliament, there are 10 political formations: PSD, AUR, PNL, USR, UDMR, S.O.S. Romania, UPR, PACE, the National Minorities Group, and POT (which no longer has parliamentary groups, but has numerous MPs considered non-affiliated), along with a few non-affiliated MPs. Nicușor Dan, as president, imposed that the Government can be formed from any of these parties, except AUR. The first to comply with his request were those from PSD. What has happened in the last two months and what continues to happen clearly demonstrates the impossibility of forming a new government without AUR," remarks the AUR leader.
