ANAF is preparing a request to the court to impose a lien on the house of the Iohannis spouses, due to a damage of almost one million euros.

ANAF intends to request the court to place under seizure the house where the Iohannis couple resides, due to their refusal to pay a damage of almost one million euros. This damage comes from illegally collected rents for a property in Sibiu, which Iohannis occupied without legal title for 16 years. The authorities have tried to reach an agreement for the payment in installments of the amount, but without success. Currently, the property is confiscated by the authorities, and ANAF wants to ensure that the Iohannis couple will not dispose of the real estate during the process, thus avoiding the payment of the damage.
