ANAF intends to request the court's approval for the seizure of the property where Klaus Iohannis and his wife live, following debts accumulated from unpaid rents for a confiscated property in Sibiu. The Iohannis couple did not accept the proposal for a payment plan during the mediation process, which led ANAF to seek the seizure to prevent the disposal of assets. In total, the Iohannis family has collected rents of 4.7 million lei over 16 years, but they lost the property in court. Additionally, the former president refused to pay the one million euro damage requested by the Tax Authority. In October, ANAF enforced the Iohannis family, changing the lock of the house, which will be put up for auction.
