The designated Prime Minister Adrian Veștea declared on his Facebook page, on June 18, that he will continue the dialogue with political parties to finalize the government program and the government team. He emphasized the importance of managing this period with "seriousness and balance," avoiding hasty decisions.
Veștea stated that he will use the available time to build a solid agreement aimed at reviving the economy, increasing the standard of living, and restoring budgetary balance. He also acknowledged the expectations of Romanians after a period of political instability, emphasizing that every decision must be made responsibly, in the long-term interest of the country. Veștea reaffirmed the commitment to avoid improvisations and decisions dictated by emotions, promising a governance act based on solid principles, with the support of Parliament.
