Romanians traveling to Schengen countries will no longer have to pass through air and sea border controls.

The abolition of Schengen border controls only applies to air and sea borders, not to air security rules. MAI employees can carry out random checks and people wanted will be detained. Minors will be able to travel with the same documents as before without additional checks.
