On December 16, General Alexus G. Grynkewich, Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in Europe and Chief of the U.S. European Command, will make a working visit to Romania, alongside General Gheorghiță Vlad, Chief of the Defense Staff.
This visit will take place at the 'Getica' National Training Center in Cincu and at the Southeast Multinational Corps Command in Sibiu. The purpose of the trip is to emphasize Romania's and NATO's commitment to strengthening regional security and enhancing the deterrence and defense posture on the southeastern flank of the Alliance. General Grynkewich is responsible for the strategic leadership of NATO operations conducted in Europe, which makes this visit all the more significant.
