The Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) has announced updated rules for the transport of liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAG) in hand luggage, which vary depending on the airport. Liquids include water, beverages, syrups, aerosols such as spray deodorants, and gels such as creams and lotions.
The general conditions stipulate that passengers can carry containers of a maximum of 100 ml, all placed in a transparent, resealable bag of a maximum of 1 liter. Each passenger is entitled to one bag only. Containers larger than 100 ml are accepted only if they are for medical use, baby food, or sealed in a STEB bag, which proves the purchase. If the liquids do not fall into these categories, they must be transported in checked luggage. Specific details for each airport can be consulted on the SRI website.
