Romania has been selected for the EuroHPC - AI Factories program, aiming to develop a supercomputer and advanced services for artificial intelligence.

RO AI Factory will include the acquisition of a next-generation supercomputer and will offer advanced services for research and business. The project, coordinated by ICI Bucharest and Politehnica Bucharest, will transform SMEs into active players in innovation. Romania, along with five other European countries, contributes to a strategic network of AI Factories, thus strengthening its role in the digital transformation of Europe and in the development of an ethical artificial intelligence ecosystem.
