Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky stated that drone attacks on European countries such as Denmark, Romania, Norway, and Poland indicate an attempt by the Kremlin to assess Europe's air defense. In the first days of September, Ukraine detected 92 drones heading towards Poland, of which 19 managed to penetrate, and four were shot down. At the same time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned that Russia would respond firmly to any attack, denying intentions to attack NATO or EU states.
