Volodimir Zelenski has announced that the new Ukrainian government, led by Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, will aim to increase the proportion of domestically produced weapons to 50% within the next six months. Former prime minister Denis Shmygal has been appointed defense minister, tasked with increasing the ministry's influence in arms production. Zelenski emphasized the importance of increasing domestic production, especially in the context of Russian attacks, and announced the allocation of funds for the development of drone interception systems.
