Zelenski said Ukrainian troops are facing mercenaries from China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and African countries that support Russia. Accusations of recruiting Chinese fighters have been rejected by Beijing. North Korea confirmed sending troops to support Russia, while the Kremlin warned of nuclear rhetoric after the repositioning of US nuclear submarines. Putin expressed readiness to meet Zelenski, but emphasized that the meeting depended on the necessary preparations.
