Radia's ambitious WindRunner project will make it easier to transport large wind turbines. The aircraft, which will be of impressive size, is designed to solve the problem of transporting huge blades that cannot be transported on land or water. With a significant carrying capacity and a range of 2,000 km, the WindRunner could double the viable land for wind farms and enable the construction of more than a million turbines by 2050. Although Radia has no experience in aircraft construction, its experienced team is working on the necessary technical specifications.
