Anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine have announced the uncovering of a scheme whereby military drones and jamming systems were purchased at inflated prices with the involvement of a parliamentarian and local officials. They received illegal kickbacks of up to 30%. The announcement comes after the anti-corruption agencies' independence was restored following protests against attempts at political control. President Zelenski emphasized the need for zero tolerance of corruption and the importance of independently functioning anti-corruption institutions for EU membership.
