The President of the USA, Donald Trump, delivered an election speech at a General Motors testing center in Michigan, praising the economic achievements of his administration, such as job creation and tax cuts.

With less than 100 days before the midterm elections in November, Trump attacked the Democrats, calling them "communists," and stated that the economy is thriving, despite polls showing increasing dissatisfaction among Americans regarding his administration's economic management. Although he highlighted job growth and decreasing inflation, Trump has been criticized for false statements regarding taxes and the trade deficit.

In Michigan, Trump's approval rating has dropped to 33%, and 61% of respondents disapprove of his performance, suggesting a serious problem in the lead-up to the midterm elections.

Michigan remains a key state in the electoral competition, and Trump is mobilizing his voter base through attacks on the Democrats, in the context of an economy affected by tariffs and international conflicts.
