TKMS shares were listed at a price of about 60 euros per unit, attracting high interest from investors. The parent group Thyssenkrupp will retain a majority stake of 51% in the company after the offering.

TKMS has an order portfolio of 18.6 billion euros, which ensures its operations at maximum capacity until around the year 2040, according to management. A submarine can take between 5 and 15 years to complete.
