The German federal prosecutor announced the arrest of three men, including two German citizens and a Lebanese, suspected of purchasing weapons for attacks against Israeli institutions in Germany. During the arrest, an AK-47 rifle and several handguns were discovered. They will be presented before a judge to decide on preventive detention. The conflict in the Middle East has a profound significance in Germany, which is a staunch supporter of Israel.
