The war in Ukraine is extending into Russian territory, with the Russian army reporting the downing of 148 Ukrainian drones within a three-hour period. On Sunday evening, a drone killed a civil defense volunteer in the Belgorod region, while other drones struck an apartment block in Novorossiysk. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the interception of drones in central and southern areas. In Crimea, the governor of Sevastopol reported four drone attacks. In the Donetsk region, repair teams have restored electricity supply for hundreds of thousands of households affected by Ukrainian attacks. Ukraine continues to target Russian energy infrastructure, despite calls from allies to reduce these attacks. Recently, a Lukoil refinery was attacked, and the head of Ukraine's Military Intelligence Directorate confirmed that there is external pressure to slow down the attacks. The economic and energy war is becoming increasingly intense, affecting not only Russia but also the global energy market. Ukrainian authorities have not yet announced whether they will yield to external pressures, but attacks on Russian energy infrastructure continue to weaken Moscow's war capacity.
