In the wake of recent Russian attacks on Ukraine and the violation of NATO airspace, the United Kingdom has announced a new set of sanctions. These target 70 vessels involved in the transport of Russian oil and 30 entities that supply military equipment. Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper emphasized the importance of these measures to intensify economic pressure on Russia and support security efforts in the region.
