A man from Arad assaulted his partner at the police station, being investigated for domestic violence.

A man from Arad County was involved in a violent incident at the Police headquarters in Chișineu Criș, where he assaulted his partner. He was brought in by the police to clarify a housing dispute, but he reacted aggressively, punching her in the face and pulling her hair.

During the police intervention, the man threw the woman to the ground. Although the partner did not wish to file a complaint, the police took notice of the domestic violence on their own initiative. Prosecutors have opened an investigation and imposed a judicial control measure for 60 days on the aggressor, who is being investigated for his actions. Investigations continue to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
